This is such an uplifting quote for me. I think it is about courage, and freedom, and the realisation that you are your own person. You hold the reins of your own life.

Sometimes other people (words, voices, intentions), take hold of your reins. Take you in another direction. Or even tether you to one spot (perspective/narrative/view).

It’s good to check in from a different angle.

And to seize your own reins back.

And to remember you can fly.
