The Power of Empathy

Sharing here a great, clear post that gives lots of practical ideas about how to actually defuse the bullying behaviours that often occur due to unconscious bias.

My favourite one is #3 - the power of #empathy:

“Simple discussion tables allow individuals to gain perspective and expand their inner circles. Interracial discussions allow us to hear out new perspectives and realise that people are more similar to us than we think they are. The more we place ourselves in the shoes of diverse others, the more we find ourselves interested in their welfare.
