...she joined online masterclasses for the resources her school is using,
...downloaded all the presentations and materials on #CambridgeGo,
...adapted them for nuances in her school's context,
...and delivered in-school workshops herself.
After, she joined a feedback session with our team and received #certificates for completing her #PreparingtoTeach journey.

I was so delighted to meet her in person finally, in Oman this past February. 😍
Even more so, when she told me that, thanks to her various proven efforts to develop her skills, she had been #promoted to Vice Principal in her school that term! (Congrats!) 🎉🎉🎉
While Preparing to Teach may not be the sole reason for this progression, efforts to be proactive as a teacher, to continuously learn and grow, do not go unnoticed. Going the extra mile pays off, perhaps not instantly, but eventually - at least from what I've seen.

✅ Preparing to Teach is for teachers at schools already using #Cambridge resources. It is a good programme for a teacher wishing to get involved with professional development but who may be short on time or capacity.
✅ It involves a 1.5 hour subject resource specific master class to join, delivering your own in person session at school, and then a follow up and feedback session you’d join with our team. Upon which, you’ll receive your certificate. 🙂
✅ If you’re looking to explore delivering training for teachers alongside your teaching practice, it’s a great opportunity to do that too, since you’ll be delivering your own session in your school setting.
✅ Finally, if you’d like to meet some new colleagues teaching with #Cambridge resources from around the world, and spend time getting to know some of the experts and even authors of the #books you’re using - they’re the ones who deliver our masterclasses! So it’s a great opportunity to meet them.
