[#Cambridge + #Worktrips] I feel it is rather a good problem to have when your cheeks hurt from laughing, smiling and talking so much at the end of each day. My cheeks were just like that last week.
I am resurfacing on LinkedIn today to catch up on here after a positive whirlwind of a week at the headquarters in Cambridge University Press & Assessment. I was lucky to spend time with the amazing group of #ProfessionalDevelopment colleagues working in #InternationalEducation who joined this conference from all around the world.
We did lots of things, like...
brainstorming,
sharing,
ideating,
learning,
stickynote-ing (should be a word),
eating,
(and eating some more),
chuckling,
hugging,
more ideating,
and lots of solutionising (should also be a word)…
And by the end of the week, we formed a set of concrete action steps to improve and refine our work, systems and processes for the new academic year ahead. Onward!💪
I am grateful for these kind of experiences and all the moments of learning, growth and connection they bring.
In sum - three words I'd use to capture last week:
It was a really special and significant week for me on both a personal and professional level - grateful for all the good colleagues who made it happen (especially Victoria Renfro & Dr Melise Camargo 💛), and to colleagues who I was able to meet in person - some for the first time! #thankyou! ✨
🙏🏼

📸10: View from a punt! (Because what is a trip to #Cambridge without #punting and listening to questionable stories about murderers and colleges running out of money?)
📸12: Finally, best til last: synchronised tea drinking in Cambridge. It’s a whole thing. @ Ruchi Tewari & Snecky 💛
